The Circle of life is my personal memoir spanning the first 37yrs of my life. It is my first book as an author and is an objective attempt at documenting my journey from complex childhood trauma, to complex PTSD, its aftermath and beyond. I have tried to write this book with utmost honest, courage, and humour, as I narrate the highly intense and traumatic events of my life, as well as the lighter, fun-filled ones. I have tried to tie my realisations with eastern philosophical teachings and key scientific findings of the 20th century, in my attempt to take the reader on a journey that comes around full circle but with deep and relevant realisations for all.
If you as a guy, or some guy you know is suffering from mental health issues, you know that this is important. We all need to talk about men's mental health and do away with the stigma associated with men's emotions. In my own small way, this book is an effort to start the right conversations so that more men can speak up, and we as a society are availble and ready to listen. We need to start having more conversations on this topic, and create a nurturing emotional environment for men so that we can stem the incredibly high suicide rates related to mental health issues. The time is now and we can all work on this together.
Please provide any support you can in helping me get the word out there. I am sure there are many people who would find reading about other people's experience helpful, but do not have the means to pay for it. I am making my book available for free through this page (scroll to the bottom), so that anyone who might find it helpful has full access to it.
Thank you very much in advance for reading my work, sharing it with your friends and family, and actively supporting this cause. It is highly appreciated.
